What does Joshua 13:32 mean?

Moses had just led the Israelites through the wilderness for forty years, and now they were finally settling the land God had promised. This verse marks the conclusion of how Moses divided up territory on the eastern side of the Jordan River, before the people crossed over to claim the rest of Canaan. The "plains of Moab" was where the Israelites camped during their final preparations, and this distribution ensured that the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh received their own land. It's a quiet moment in the story, showing how God's promises weren't just spiritual hopes but concrete realities, with specific land and boundaries for specific people.
