What does John 9:7 mean?

A man born blind encounters Jesus, who makes mud and places it on his eyes, then sends him to wash in Siloam's pool. The act of washing seems almost ordinary, yet it becomes the moment everything changes. What's beautiful here is the combination of Jesus's touch and the man's obedience, the divine action and the human response working together. When the man does what he's told, he returns not just physically healed but able to see the world for the first time in his life, and perhaps more importantly, able to see the one who healed him.
