What does John 3:36 mean?
The promise here is beautifully direct: trusting in Jesus brings you into eternal life, a relationship with God that starts now and continues forever. On the flip side, rejecting him means missing out on that life, and God's judgment remains. It's not that God is waiting to punish you later, but rather that by turning away from the source of life itself, you're already separated from it. This isn't meant to frighten, but to clarify what's actually at stake in how we respond to Jesus. The choice between these two paths shapes everything.
