John 21:8

But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away), dragging the net full of fish.

What does John 21:8 mean?

After Jesus's resurrection, the disciples had been fishing all night without success, and then Jesus appeared on the shore and told them where to cast their net. This verse shows them finally coming in from the water after hauling in an enormous catch of 153 fish, so heavy they could hardly drag it. The detail about being only two hundred cubits away (roughly 300 feet) reminds us that Jesus had been watching them from the beach the whole time, already preparing breakfast for them. It's a quiet moment of abundance and care, showing how Jesus provides not just spiritually but in the practical, everyday ways we need.
