John 14:24
“He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.”
What does John 14:24 mean?
When we truly love Jesus, it shows in how we live by what he teaches us. If we claim to follow him but ignore his words, that disconnect reveals something about the depth of our commitment. What's striking here is his reminder that his teaching isn't separate from God the Father's heart, but flows directly from it, so rejecting Jesus's words is ultimately rejecting God's own message to us.
