John 10:37
“If I don’t do the works of my Father, don’t believe me.”
What does John 10:37 mean?
Jesus is inviting his listeners to evaluate his claims by looking at his actions, not just his words. He's saying that if his life and miracles don't reflect God's character and power, there's no good reason to trust what he's saying about himself. This is actually reassuring: Jesus isn't asking for blind faith, but inviting honest observation and discernment. He's confident enough in what God is doing through him that he's willing to stake his credibility on it.
