John 1:3
βAll things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made.β
What does John 1:3 mean?
This verse celebrates Jesus as the creative force behind everything that exists, from the grandest galaxies to the smallest details of creation. The early church wanted to make clear that Jesus wasn't just a teacher who came later, but was present and active in the very foundation of all reality. When life feels chaotic or meaningless, there's profound comfort in knowing that the same Jesus who spoke everything into being is close to us now, and that our existence itself is no accident but part of his intentional design.
