Joel 2:29
“And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days, I will pour out my Spirit.”
What does Joel 2:29 mean?
God is making a promise here that his Spirit will be given generously and without the usual boundaries. In Joel's time, the Spirit was often associated with prophets, priests, and kings—people in positions of authority. But this verse says the Spirit will come even to servants and handmaids, the people with the least power and status in society.
