What does Job 6:25 mean?
Job is pushing back against his friends' attempts to comfort him, and this verse captures his frustration perfectly. He's saying that honest, true words have real power to help and heal, but then he turns it around: their criticism isn't actually pointing out anything he did wrong, so what good is it doing? Job is in agony, convinced of his own integrity, and his friends keep suggesting his suffering must be punishment for hidden sin.
