What does Job 5:26 mean?
Eliphaz is offering Job comfort by painting a picture of a life lived fully and naturally to completion. The image of grain ripening and being harvested in its proper season suggests a life that unfolds as it should, reaching maturity and fulfillment before coming to an end.
