What does Job 39:11 mean?

God is asking Job whether he would dare entrust a wild ox with important work, simply because the animal is powerful. The point isn't really about oxen, though. After pages of questions about nature's mysteries, God is inviting Job to notice something: raw strength alone doesn't make something trustworthy or capable of stewarding what matters to us. Job has been wrestling with why suffering exists and whether God can be trusted, and this question suggests that trust requires more than just acknowledging God's power. It's about recognizing God's character and wisdom, not just his might.
