Job 36:25
“All men have looked on it. Man sees it afar off.”
What does Job 36:25 mean?
Elihu, the young man speaking in this passage, is pointing to something so vast and undeniable that no one can miss it, even from a distance. He's talking about God's work in creation and in the world, inviting Job (who has been suffering and questioning) to step back and notice the bigger picture. When you're in the middle of pain, it's easy to lose sight of anything beyond your immediate struggle, so Elihu is essentially saying, "Look around you—God's fingerprints are everywhere, even if you can't understand everything happening in your own life right now."
