Job 36:23
“Who has prescribed his way for him? Or who can say, ‘You have committed unrighteousness?’”
What does Job 36:23 mean?
Elihu is reminding Job that no one has the authority to dictate God's actions or hold Him accountable to human standards of justice. He's suggesting that God operates beyond our ability to judge—we can't say God has done wrong because we don't have the standing or the wisdom to make such a claim.
