What does Job 33:30 mean?
Elihu is speaking here about God's gracious way of rescuing us from destruction and despair. When we're in deep trouble, feeling trapped or hopeless (the "pit"), God works to pull us back from that edge and restore us to life and clarity. Being "enlightened with the light of the living" means we get a second chance to see things clearly again, to experience joy and purpose, and to live fully rather than just survive in darkness.
