What does Job 26:6 mean?
Even the deepest, darkest places—where the dead go, where destruction itself dwells—are completely exposed and visible to God. There's nowhere hidden from his sight, no shadow deep enough to escape his awareness or slip past his attention. This verse offers both comfort and soberness depending on where you're standing: if you're afraid or ashamed, it means you're never truly alone in the darkness, and God sees you fully. If you're trying to hide something or run from accountability, it means there's nowhere to go.
