What does Job 22:5 mean?
Eliphaz is accusing Job of hidden sins, assuming that Job's suffering must be punishment for serious wrongdoing. This comes from a painful misunderstanding: Eliphaz and Job's other friends believed in a simple formula where bad things happen only to bad people.
