What does Job 22:15 mean?

Eliphaz is challenging Job to reconsider whether he's walking down a path that the godless have worn smooth through their own sin. The question carries an edge: are you really going to follow the same destructive patterns that have led others away from God? It's the kind of thing a friend says when they think you're making a terrible mistake, though in Job's case, Eliphaz is actually wrong about what's really happening in Job's life. The image of an "old way" suggests habits and choices that feel familiar and easy precisely because so many broken people have traveled them before.
