What does Job 21:7 mean?

Job is wrestling with one of life's hardest questions: why do people who seem to deserve punishment often thrive while the righteous suffer. He's not being rebellious here, but genuinely confused and hurt as he watches the world around him. His friends have insisted that God always rewards goodness and punishes evil, but Job's own experience (and his observation of others) suggests reality is messier than that. This question reflects the honest ache many of us feel when we see unfairness, corruption, or cruelty seemingly rewarded with success and comfort. It's a question born from real pain, not from doubt about God's existence, but from struggling to understand how a good God allows such things.
