Job 21:10

What does Job 21:10 mean?
Job is describing the prosperity of the wicked, and this verse captures one of his most painful observations: the animals of ungodly people seem to thrive without problem. While Job himself suffers, he watches those who ignore God experience uninterrupted success, even down to the most basic measures of blessing like healthy livestock. This hits at a question many of us know intimately, especially in hard seasons: why do things seem to go smoothly for people who don't seem to deserve it? Job isn't claiming this is always true, but he's naming the real frustration of seeing injustice rewarded while he faces suffering he doesn't understand. Sometimes acknowledging that unfairness exists openly, just as Job does here, is part of how we process our own pain and confusion before we can move toward trust again.
