What does Job 20:3 mean?
Zophar is responding to Job's previous words, and something in what Job said has stung him deeply. He's feeling humiliated, like Job's arguments have exposed something uncomfortable in him, and now his own mind is working hard to defend itself and come back with a counterargument.
