What does Job 16:13 mean?
Job is describing his suffering in the most vivid, raw language he can find, picturing himself under relentless attack. He's not being literal about archers or his body being torn apart, but rather expressing how absolutely devastated and defenseless he feels in the face of overwhelming pain. The intensity of the image shows just how desperate his situation is and how abandoned he feels, even by God.
