Job 10:19
“I should have been as though I had not been. I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.”
What does Job 10:19 mean?
Job is expressing the depth of his suffering so painfully that he wishes he'd never existed at all. He's imagining that if he had died at birth, he would have been spared the anguish he's now enduring. This isn't him being dramatic, it's the honest cry of someone who has lost everything, his health, and seemingly God's favor. What makes this verse so important is that it's real.
