What does Jeremiah 50:11 mean?
God is calling out those who have conquered and plundered His people, pointing out that they're celebrating and gloating in their victory. The language of a heifer treading grain and horses neighing captures their unrestrained joy and arrogance, as if they're acting like animals enjoying themselves without conscience. He's essentially saying: "You think you've won, you're thrilled with what you've taken, but that attitude itself shows how little you understand about what's coming." It's a piercing reminder that God sees not just our actions but the satisfaction and pride we take in wrongdoing, and that such confidence in stolen victory is foolishness.
