Jeremiah 49:31

What does Jeremiah 49:31 mean?
God is calling out to a military force, inviting them to attack a vulnerable people who feel completely safe and unprepared. This was actually fulfilled when Nebuchadnezzar's armies moved against the Kedarites, a nomadic Arab tribe living in the desert who had grown complacent. They had no fortified cities or defensive walls because they relied on their isolation and freedom to protect them. The passage reminds us of a hard truth: comfort and ease can sometimes make us careless, and a false sense of security can leave us unprepared.
