Jeremiah 46:28
“Don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant,” says Yahweh; “for I am with you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you; but I will not make a full end of you, but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.””
What does Jeremiah 46:28 mean?
God speaks directly to Jacob (representing Israel as a people) with a promise wrapped in honest accountability. While judgment will come to the nations that scattered Israel, God promises not to completely destroy His people, even though they will face correction for their unfaithfulness.
