What does Jeremiah 36:19 mean?
Jeremiah had just delivered God's hard message to Judah, and Baruch his scribe had written it all down on a scroll. When the king's officials heard these words read aloud, they realized this message was dangerous, not because it was false, but because it challenged the king's authority and comfort.
