What does Jeremiah 32:34 mean?

The people of Judah had brought idols and practices that directly opposed God's values into the temple itself, the very place dedicated to worshiping him alone. By doing this in God's own house, they weren't just making poor choices in private; they were openly rejecting him in the place most sacred to their faith. Jeremiah is describing a kind of spiritual betrayal where people claim to belong to God while actively turning toward other things. It's a painful image of hypocrisy, but it also shows why God felt so hurt and why judgment was coming.
