Jeremiah 30:17
“For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,” says Yahweh; “because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’””
What does Jeremiah 30:17 mean?
God is speaking to a people who feel completely abandoned, rejected by everyone around them, written off as worthless. Yet God promises something radical: healing and restoration, not because they've earned it or pulled themselves together, but simply because he chooses to act on their behalf. The historical setting is Israel in exile, broken and scattered, but the promise reaches far beyond that moment.
