What does Jeremiah 29:3 mean?
Jeremiah had written a letter to the Jewish exiles in Babylon, and this verse tells us how it got there: King Zedekiah sent two official messengers, Elasah and Gemariah, on a diplomatic trip to Nebuchadnezzar, and they carried Jeremiah's letter with them.
