Jeremiah 25:32
“Yahweh of Armies says, “Behold, evil will go out from nation to nation, and a great storm will be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth.””
What does Jeremiah 25:32 mean?
Jeremiah was delivering a hard message to people who didn't want to hear it, warning them that their choices had consequences that would ripple outward. The prophet is saying that conflict and destruction won't stay contained in one place, but will spread like a storm across the whole earth, touching nation after nation. It's both a description of how violence and sin work in our world and a call to take seriously the weight of our decisions. For those going through difficult times, this verse can remind us that our struggles are sometimes part of larger patterns, and that God sees the full scope of what's happening, even when we can only see our small corner of it.
