Jeremiah 25:24
βand all the kings of Arabia, all the kings of the mixed people who dwell in the wilderness;β
What does Jeremiah 25:24 mean?
Jeremiah is listing the nations and peoples God's judgment will reach, and here he includes the Arabian kingdoms and the desert tribes. These were peoples on the edges of the known world to ancient Judah, yet the prophet insists that God's reach extends even to remote and seemingly untouchable places. It's a way of saying that no one escapes God's awareness or his call to account, whether they live in great cities or hidden corners of the earth. If you're feeling far from help or forgotten, this reminds us that distance doesn't separate us from God's attention.
