Jeremiah 24:7
“I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Yahweh. They will be my people, and I will be their God; for they will return to me with their whole heart.”
What does Jeremiah 24:7 mean?
God is making a promise here about something he will do from the inside out. He's not just demanding that people obey him or threatening punishment, but saying he will actually change their hearts so they genuinely want to know him and turn toward him. It's deeply personal, almost intimate: the relationship won't be forced or shallow, but real and wholehearted. The promise also works both ways.
