Jeremiah 13:15
“Hear, and give ear. Don’t be proud, for Yahweh has spoken.”
What does Jeremiah 13:15 mean?
The prophet Jeremiah is calling people to actually listen, not just hear words pass by their ears. Being proud often means we think we already know what God wants or that we don't need to hear what he's saying, so Jeremiah is urging people to set that aside and stay open. When he says "Yahweh has spoken," he's reminding us that what follows isn't just good advice but a message from God himself, which deserves our full attention and humility.
