What does Jeremiah 11:6 mean?

God is calling Jeremiah to go public with an urgent message: the people have made a covenant with God, and they need to actually live by it, not just know about it. This wasn't a quiet, private conversation—Jeremiah had to speak boldly in the streets and towns where people gathered, making sure everyone heard. The emphasis on "do them" shows that God wasn't interested in empty agreement or casual belief; he wanted the people's hearts and actions to reflect their promises to him. Even though Jeremiah was stepping into a difficult role as a messenger nobody would want to hear, he was being asked to call people back to something they'd already committed to.
