What does Jeremiah 10:19 mean?
Jeremiah is expressing the pain of watching his nation collapse, and he's wrestling with an honest truth: some suffering just has to be endured. He's not pretending everything will quickly resolve or that he can simply think his way past it. Instead, he acknowledges both the weight of his wound and his decision to carry it anyway. There's something both raw and mature in these words. Jeremiah isn't denying his pain or forcing false optimism, yet he's also not giving in to despair. He's naming what is real (this hurts, and it's mine to bear) and choosing to keep going.
