What does Isaiah 7:19 mean?
When Isaiah speaks of insects and creatures settling everywhere—in valleys, rock crevices, thorny places, and fields—he's painting a picture of overwhelming invasion. The prophet is describing what happens when Egypt and Assyria sweep through Judah like a plague of locusts or flies, covering the land so completely that nowhere feels safe or untouched.
