Isaiah 66:22
““For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me,” says Yahweh, “so your offspring and your name shall remain.”
What does Isaiah 66:22 mean?
God is making a promise about permanence and legacy here. Just as He will establish new heavens and new earth that endure forever in His presence, the descendants and reputation of His faithful people will also last indefinitely. There's deep comfort in this: your life and your family line matter in God's eternal plans, not just for a moment but for ages to come. It's His way of saying that faithfulness to Him creates a legacy that outlasts the temporary struggles and uncertainties of this present world.
