Isaiah 64:1

What does Isaiah 64:1 mean?
Isaiah here captures the longing of people who feel distant from God and desperately want Him to intervene in their lives and the world. The prophet is asking God to do something so dramatic and undeniable that it would shake creation itself, leaving no room for doubt about His presence or power.
