Isaiah 63:7
“I will tell of the loving kindnesses of Yahweh and the praises of Yahweh, according to all that Yahweh has given to us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has given to them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.”
What does Isaiah 63:7 mean?
The prophet Isaiah is making a personal commitment to remember and speak about God's faithfulness, not just as an abstract idea but as something he's witnessed firsthand in the life of God's people. He's saying that God's goodness isn't occasional or grudging, but overflowing, shown through mercy again and again across generations. When Isaiah speaks of telling these stories, he's inviting us to do the same: to notice the ways we've been cared for and to give voice to them.
