Isaiah 57:3
““But draw near here, you sons of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes.”
What does Isaiah 57:3 mean?
Isaiah addresses people who have turned away from God to worship idols and live in ways that contradict his instructions, calling them out for following in the footsteps of spiritual unfaithfulness. The language is harsh because the prophet is trying to wake them up to how far they've drifted, using the imagery of those born from practices explicitly forbidden in God's law.
