What does Isaiah 56:1 mean?

God is calling his people to live justly and do what's right, not because they've earned favor, but because his salvation is already on the way. There's a sense of urgency here, a reminder that God's deliverance isn't distant or uncertain—it's near. When we align our actions with justice and righteousness, we're not creating God's favor; we're positioning ourselves to recognize and receive the good things he's already bringing. It's an invitation to live in a way that reflects the character of the God whose rescue is already in motion.
