Isaiah 49:15
““Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you!”
What does Isaiah 49:15 mean?
Even the deepest human bond, a mother's love for her nursing child, sometimes fails under extreme circumstances. Yet God uses this tender image to say something stunning: if even that foundational love could falter, his commitment to you is something far stronger and more reliable. He's not making a promise based on your worthiness or performance, but declaring that his faithfulness stands when everything else might shake.
