Isaiah 44:21
“Remember these things, Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant. Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.”
What does Isaiah 44:21 mean?
God is speaking directly to his people at a moment when they felt abandoned and lost in exile. He's reminding them of their identity and reassuring them that despite everything that's happened, they still matter to him and his purposes. The repetition here isn't accidental, the way God says "you are my servant" twice and emphasizes "I have formed you," it's the tone of someone trying to get through to someone who's stopped listening to themselves.
