Isaiah 43:22
“Yet you have not called on me, Jacob; but you have been weary of me, Israel.”
What does Isaiah 43:22 mean?
God is speaking directly to his people here, and his words carry both sadness and invitation. Despite everything he's done for them, they haven't really turned to him or asked for his help, and worse, they've grown tired of him and the relationship itself. It's like someone you've cared for deeply has simply stopped showing up, not out of crisis but out of indifference and fatigue.
