What does Isaiah 40:14 mean?
This passage is part of Isaiah's sweeping reminder that God stands utterly alone in wisdom and power. The prophet is asking a series of rhetorical questions, each expecting the answer "no one"—because there is literally no one equal to God who could advise him, correct him, or fill in gaps in his understanding.
