What does Isaiah 30:25 mean?
Isaiah is painting a picture of radical restoration after judgment. The "great slaughter" and falling towers refer to God's defeat of enemies who threatened Jerusalem, but the focus isn't on destruction itself, rather on what comes after: a landscape transformed by water flowing where it never flowed before.
