What does Isaiah 26:20 mean?

Isaiah is writing to people facing judgment and upheaval, and he's telling them that temporary withdrawal isn't cowardice, it's wisdom. The "rooms" and closed doors represent a safe space, maybe literal homes or maybe the inner refuge we find in God during crisis. The "little moment" matters here, too. No matter how overwhelming present trouble feels, Isaiah reminds us it's not permanent.
