Isaiah 2:5
“House of Jacob, come, and let us walk in the light of Yahweh.”
What does Isaiah 2:5 mean?
Isaiah invites God's people to step into a better way of living, one guided by God's truth and character. The "light of Yahweh" represents everything good, just, and true that God offers, in contrast to the darkness of confusion, injustice, and false paths that humans often choose. This isn't a command spoken from a distance, but a warm invitation, "come"—Isaiah is calling his own community to turn toward God together, to align their lives with His wisdom. It's an image of walking forward with clarity and purpose, knowing you're not alone but moving alongside others who also seek to honor God.
