What does Isaiah 19:13 mean?

Egypt's leaders, particularly in the northern cities of Zoan and Memphis, have lost their wisdom and become blind to reality, leading their entire nation into confusion and collapse. When those at the very foundation of a society, the ones meant to guide and stabilize it, make foolish decisions based on delusion, everyone suffers. Isaiah is describing what happens when power moves into the hands of people who have abandoned genuine understanding, whether through pride, spiritual blindness, or simple corruption. The image of a crumbling cornerstone is devastating because without it, the whole structure falls apart.
