Isaiah 10:23
“For the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, will make a full end, and that determined, throughout all the earth.”
What does Isaiah 10:23 mean?
God is declaring that he has a purpose for this world, and nothing will stop him from completing it. The "full end" here refers to God's final judgment and restoration, which he has already decided will happen. This wasn't written as a threat meant to terrorize, but as a promise to people suffering under oppressive rulers, reminding them that earthly powers are ultimately temporary and accountable to God. The message offers comfort to anyone feeling trapped by circumstances beyond their control: God's plans are already set, they're comprehensive ("throughout all the earth"), and they will be completed.
